Abstract  In order to develop the nanofiber filtration membrane with higher efficiency and lower resistance,the polyacrylonitrile nanofiber with different mass fractions were large scaled produced with nonneedle Electrostatic Spinning equipment.The microstructure,air permeability and filtration property of the polyacrylonitrile nanofiber filtration membrane were tested.The test results showed that the thickness of nanofiber filtration membrane was increased and the air permeability was decreased as the increasing of spinning time.However,both the filtration efficiency and resistance pressure drop showed an increase trend.As the increase of solution mass fraction,the air permeability of nanofiber filtration membrane was decreased first then increased,but the filtration efficiency and resistance pressure drop showed increase first then decrease trend.It is considered that the air permeability and filtration efficiency of the filtration membrane spun by 12% mass fraction polyacrylonitrile solution for 20 mins and the resistance pressure drop is relatively smaller.It is suitable for development as air filtration material.
